K12 Supports Army Wife Network

What does one wear to the Army Wife Network’s Spouse Field Exercise, I thought, as I agreed to attend on behalf of K12- the leader in online learning for grades K – 12? This past May, my daughters and I had the distinct privilege to attend and no, we didn’t pack our jogging suits!

We did, however, meet a group of amazing women who we are proud to call friends. I can’t think of a better way to honor our military than to provide a night of gratitude and fun. My daughter, Ashley, has this to say about the event and I couldn’t agree more: It was great going to the Army Wives Networking convention. These women struggle everyday with the troubling thoughts of transferring to different bases, making new friends, enrolling their children into new schools. We were able to represent K12 -- a curriculum that could possibly change their lives and the lives of their children.
I hope the winners of our drawings are enjoying their “spa in a basket” and I personally look forward to next year’s event! With a heart full of gratitude for your sacrifice to make our world a safer place to live.

God bless you, Sheri
