December Post With The Most - Fort Hood Goings On

Fort Hood and Fort Stewart were our tied winners for the December Post With The Most. There is SOOOOOOOOOOO much going on at these two posts, but I'm about to tell you what's going on at Fort Hood!

The Williamson County Symphony Orchestra presents
“I’ll Be Home for Christmas”
to the Fort Hood community. Witness music come alive as over 85 musicians fill Howze Theater with the sounds of the season. Young and old alike will enjoy this spectacular music display, sure to put the cheer of the holidays in your heart.

The orchestra has been performing on Fort Hood each holiday season since 2004; a performance that is well-loved by all ages! All are invited to this free event on December 5 at 7:30pm at Howze Theater.

Tickets will not be sold; entrance is first come, first serve. Howze Theater is located on Battalion Avenue near 75th Street. For more information, call 254-286-5342.

Homefront Debriefing for Soldiers in Relationships
Homecoming, while joyous, often presents unique challenges to Soldiers and their spouses. Soldiers are invited to attend a free open forum discussion on topics such as:
• Coping with combat related stress
• Communicating with loved ones
• Adjusting to the community after deployment

Second Annual Holiday Dash 5K Run/Walk
19 December, 8 am

Race begins at Abrams Physical Fitness Center

Free, Open to the Public
First 150 registrants receive a commemorative T-shirt. Trophies will be awarded to best overall male and female. Medals will be awarded for the top three finishers in each age group.

And Rebecca, don't forget about Nature in Lights at BLORA! It's an amazing outdoor light show, there is a cost to get in and more info can be found on the MWR site!!
