For Your Care Package Idea Files

Ok, so I have to ask...how did Tara miss this theme?
It's Thanksgiving, and we don't have any ideas from her on what
to send to our troops . LOL! (Tara: you know I'm playing girl, but
those were my thoughts this afternoon when I heard a radio spot
from Move America Forward (MAF)).

They are sending care packages to soldiers with a Thanksgiving Dinner theme.

The packages even include Oreos. Yum! See what else....


Turkey Jerky -- of course; why didn't we think of that?
Hot Cocoa Mix -- for a cold winter's night
Gourmet Coffee -- they must have heard (on AWTR) that it's a fave
Oreo Cookies -- there's a whole campaign to keep soldiers Oreo'd up
Cranberry and Raisin Trail Mix -- another obvious choice; Go MAF!
Diplomacy Edition Jelly Bellies -- with a poem to Iraqi children
Special "For the Troops" CDs -- we know how we love our music

These were such awesome ideas, that I just had to share.

Next year, we'll be prepared. Or maybe you want to send a
squad/platoon/brigade the coffee, Oreo, and jelly belly pack for Christmas.
